IRWM Tribal Webinar Series 2020
In 2020, DWR and the Integrated Regional Water program organized a series of webinars, bringing together Tribal leaders, Tribal water management practitioners, and DWR program staff to support Tribal participation in regional water management. Attendees learned about statewide IRWM programs and objectives, and shared experience engaging in the IRWM process. Through discussion, participants identified key challenges in Tribal participation, best practices, and ways DWR can improve its programs to better serve Tribes.
The information shared during the Tribal Webinar Series is available below and contains lessons and resources that may be helpful to anyone who could not attend. If you want to learn more about Tribal participation in IRWM or want to be involved in future discussions, please subscribe to DWR’s Tribal List Serve and select "DWR CWP TRIBAL COMMUNICATION."
