Draft Award Recommendations for the Drainage Reuse Grant Program Released for Public Comment
The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) released the Draft Award List for four projects under its 2020 Drainage Reuse Grant Program.
Approximately $1.1 million in grant funding is being made available for local public agencies and universities in the State of California to facilitate research projects and programs that resolve agricultural drainage issues by developing methods of reusing it; reducing its toxic elements; and concentrating, separating, and utilizing its salts.
This funding is made possible by the 1996 Proposition 204 Safe, Clean, Reliable Water Supply Act (Prop 204) under a reimbursement agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA).
