Public Meeting for the Cache Creek Channel and Levee Rehabilitation Project DEIR

The California Department of Water Resources--lead agency for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)--has completed preparation of a Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Cache Creek Channel and Levee Rehabilitation Project (proposed project). The DEIR is now available for a 45-day public review and comment period. The comment period is from March 7, 2025, to April 23, 2025.

A CEQA Public Meeting will be held March 26, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm. The meeting will allow for an opportunity to submit oral or written comments.  Substantive comments and response to comments will be included in the final EIR.  Translation services will be offered by submitting your request to Jeff.Schuette@water.ca.gov at least 10 days prior to the meeting.
