Perris Seepage Recovery Project DEIR Public Meeting

DWR will have a public meeting for the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Perris Seepage Recovery Project. There will be a short presentation describing the project and opportunity to submit written comments.

On May 7, 2021, DWR opened the 45-day public comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Perris Seepage Recovery Project. The proposed project consists of installing an integrated recovery well system to collect State Water Project (SWP) water that is currently seeping beneath Perris Dam. The recovery well system would include up to six water recovery wells and a conveyance pipeline connecting the wells to the CRA. The public comment period will close June 21, 2021.
