Members of the public will be able to observe the meeting and provide public comments in-person at the meeting location or remotely. Remote participation will be conducted via a web-based videoconferencing service called Zoom.
Registration is not required to attend or observe the meeting or to provide comments. This is an opportunity for elected Tribal leaders and formally designated Tribal representatives to identify themselves and to specify the agenda item(s) on which they will comment, as described in the Commission’s California Native American Tribal Leadership Comment Policy.
4. Approval of June 17, 2026, Meeting Minutes
5. Executive Officer’s Report
The Executive Officer will report on various matters addressed since the previous Commission meeting.
6. Commission Member Reports
This is an opportunity for members to disclose any meetings or conversations related to Commission business and held since the previous Commission meeting.
7. Public Testimony
Although no formal Commission action will be taken, the Commission offers an opportunity for the public to address the Commission on items of interest that are within the Commission’s jurisdiction, but that do not appear on the agenda.
8. State Water Project Briefing: Financial and Operations Update
Staff from the Department of Water Resources (DWR) will provide an update on the 2026-2027 SWP budget and current operations. The State Water Contractors will share their perspective on costs and operations.
9. Vision for the Valley: An Overview and Local Perspectives
Staff from DWR will provide an overview of DWR’s Vision for the San Joaquin Valley. This report integrates findings from three separate projects to inform near- and long-term strategies for the resiliency of the San Joaquin Valley. Representatives from academia, and agricultural, community-based, and environmental organizations will provide their perspectives on opportunities and challenges with implementation of the Vision for the San Joaquin Valley.
10. Water Storage Investment Program: Quarterly Update on Projects
Commission staff will provide an update on the progress of projects in the Water Storage Investment Program (WSIP).
11. Water Storage Investment Program: Pulse Flow Water Types and Conveyance
Staff from DWR will describe the water types and conveyance associated with pulse flow projects in the WSIP.
Representatives of the Southern California Water Bank Authority, the project proponent for the Willow Springs Water Bank Conjunctive Use Project, will update the Commission on project progress.
