ENVIRONMENTAL ENHANCEMENT AND MITIGATION PROGRAM

 

 

The California Natural Resources Agency will open the 2025 Environmental Enhancement and Mitigation (EEM) grant solicitation in late April of 2025.

The EEM Grant Program seeks projects to mitigate environmental impacts caused by new or modified public transportation facilities. Eligible applicants are local, state, and federal governmental agencies, federally recognized Native American tribes, and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

 

Approximately $8 million is available for awards this cycle. If awarded, projects will need to be completed by March 2030.
