​Water Storage Investment Program Project Review Portal

Proposition 1 dedicated $2.7 billion for investments in new water storage projects.  The California Water Commission (Commission), through the Water Storage Investment Program (WSIP), will fund the public benefits of these projects.

The application period for WSIP funding closed on August 14, 2017. All applications received by the Commission and information and documentation related to the review process can be found on this page.

​​*The Commission made a Maximum Conditional Eligibility Determination (MCED) on July 24, 2018. Final funding is contingent upon the applicant completing the requirements of section 6013 of the WSIP regulations.

​Public Benefits Ratios (PBRs) and Appeals​

Information about project PBRs can be found in the table below. To access a project's PBR review, which expains reviewer adjustments to the PBR, click on the reviewer adjusted PBR in the "PBR Review" column. Applicant appeals and supporting documentation are available on each project's application page, which can be accessed by clicking "Link to Application" for each project in the table at the top of this page. The project application pages can also be reached through the documents in the "Applicant Appeal" column below. Staff responses to applicant appeals can be viewed by clicking the staff recommended PBR in the "Staff Response to Appeal" column.
