Informal Public Review Period: Staff Draft Regulations and Guidelines for Public Benefits

The California Water Commission held an informal public review period for Staff Draft Regulations for Quantifying and Managing the Public Benefits of Water Storage Projects, and associated Guidelines between November 13, 2013 and January 31, 2014.  While public comments are always accepted, comments submitted during that period were considered for inclusion in the next staff draft. Please note, this was an informal public review period and not part of a formal rulemaking process. All comments received are available on our Public Benefits page. The Commission will review comments received at its February and March 2014 meetings.

Documents for Review
These documents were developed based on the Safe, Clean, and Reliable Drinking Water Supply Act of 2010 (SBX7-2). Any future drafts will be prepared based on the Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014.
